Meet the East Coweta Veterinary Hospital Doctors

Amelia Ray, DVM

A graduate of Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, I have been working at East Coweta Veterinary Hospital since 2006.  I am happily married and have three wonderful girls that keep me busy when I am not at the office. Bama (aka Captain Retardo, my loyal Labrador), Lili (my not-so-loyal rescue Dachshund), and Bagel (a goofy Beagle puppy) complete the family along with Skillet (super-sweet cuddly grey DSH) and Tenzing (a skittish yellow kitten).  Professionally I am interested in internal medicine, cardiology and radiology (including ultrasound).  In my “spare” time, I enjoy reading, traveling, antiquing and exercising with friends.

Nanette Chastine, DVM

Living with a family of animal lovers and being raised on a farm in Georgia with horses, goats, cats and dogs, veterinary medicine was an obvious choice and a life – long dream of mine. I graduated from the University of Georgia and have practiced in Georgia and Montana. As a former undergraduate professor (Equine Studies), I love to educate my clients so they can better care for their pets. Surgery is a particular interest of mine so I am happy to fill that role at East Coweta Veterinary Hospital. In addition to seeing cats and dogs I also enjoy my goat, rabbit, and pet pig patients. I live on a 10 acre farm with horses and fainting goats and I raise show Netherland Dwarf and Holland lop rabbits. In my free time I like to camp and hike with my dog.
