Meet the East Coweta Veterinary Hospital Doctors

Amelia Ray, DVM

A graduate of Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, I have been working at East Coweta Veterinary Hospital since 2006.  I am happily married and have three wonderful girls that keep me busy when I am not at the office. Bama (aka Captain Retardo, my loyal Labrador), Lili (my not-so-loyal rescue Dachshund), and Bagel (a goofy Beagle puppy) complete the family along with Skillet (super-sweet cuddly grey DSH) and Tenzing (a skittish yellow kitten).  Professionally I am interested in internal medicine, cardiology and radiology (including ultrasound).  In my “spare” time, I enjoy reading, traveling, antiquing and exercising with friends.

Sherry Harper, DVM

I graduated from veterinary school at Oklahoma State, but am originally from Arkansas. I practiced in Arkansas, the Virgin Islands, and for the past 13 years here in Georgia. I am interested in surgery, internal medicine, dermatology and exotics (small mammals). I have 1 son, three dogs (Mastiff mix, Pitbull, and Scottish Terrier mix), 1 cat, several chickens, and fish. They keep me busy and are the reason I keep finding gray hair. I can’t imagine life without my chaotic little bunch.
